Elive è una distribuzione LinuX
derivata da Debian GNU/Linux ed è abbastanza noto per essere distribuito unicamente con il
desktop Enlightenment o più comunemente chiamato
E17 che gli consente di offrire all' utente un'
interfaccia grafica gradevole e poco assetata di risorse di sistema.
Ecco le novità della nuova versione 1.9.26 tratte dal sito del produttore:"The Elive team is proud to announce the release of the development version 1.9.26. Changes: NVIDIA and ATI - when you upgrade the kernel package and modules, you will broke your NVIDIA/ATI drivers except if you update or install or remove any requirement manually, this problem is solved in this version by holding ALL the kernel and driver packages (and GLX packages); accelerated boot - a bit more accelerated boot of the live system by sorting the files of the file system in the CD-ROM structure by their access order; practical things - convert any audio file to MP3 or OGG format by right-clicking on them in the file manager."
