Choqok è un’ottimo Client per Twitter e Identi.ca specifico per ambienti desktop Kde. Tra le molte qualità di questa applicazione troviamo la possibilità di utilizzare più account contemporaneamente, l’integrazione con KWallet e il supporto per abbreviare gli URL con più di 30 caratteri e molto altro ancora.

Per utilizzare Choqok bisogna rpima installare la chiave d'autenticazione, quindi da terminale digitare

     sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-key 0x5646f8b10331274d

adesso aggiungiamo i Repository scrivendo sempre nel terminale

Per Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty

     sudo echo "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/neversfelde/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list

Per Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid

     sudo echo "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/neversfelde/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list

Per Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy

     sudo echo "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/neversfelde/ppa/ubuntu hardy main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list

a questo punto aggiorniamo con un

     sudo apt-get update

ora possiamo installare Choqok con un

     sudo apt-get install choqok
