Griffith 0.11
Griffith is a media collection manager application. Adding items to the collection is as quick and easy as typing the film title and selecting a supported source. Griffith will then try to fetch all the related information from the Web.
Griffith is a cross-platform application and is known to run on GNU Linux, Microsoft Windows and MacOS X systems. Probably, it will run on other POSIX compatible operating systems where a gtk+ environment is available, including FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Solaris. Griffith is an open source project, released under the GNU/GPL licence.
Griffith is written in Python, making use of the PyGTK+ library, a GTK+ binding for python. There are other dependencies. Griffith is inspired by the respected north-american film director, David Wark Griffith, aka D. W. Griffith, famous from the silent film era. The Birth of a Nation (1915) is probably his most famous film. This list will give you an overview of the most important features:* Fetches film information from the Internet based on your locale via a plug-in
